I cleaned injectors out and checked timing on pumps and now it will only run on 1 cylinder?
I can"t get fuel out of the pump now. Is it air locked? Or did the pump go bad? At first When I loosened line at injecotor (after cleaning) I got alot of air bubbles it seemed to me,,now I get no fuel!
Im only going by the book so I don"t want to spend a ton of money on a pump if its just air locked. Do they do this? Or will it self bleed?
Please help
thanks

One cylinder at idle or at all rpms and loads? How did you time and syncronize the pumps? Have you removed the offending injector and reconnected turn 180 degrees it to check the spray pattern? Keep your fingers away from the spray pattern and connections.

Needs to be bled. Hardest diesel to bleed in the world. Pull the plug out of the right fuel filter and let it drain for what seems foreven. Eventually a few bubbles will make their way out. Repeat the process on the left filter. Then do the same on the return line. Sometimes pressurizing the fuel tank will speed up the process.Good luck.

I highly disagree about them being the "hardest diesel in the world to bleed" I NEVER had ANY trouble with them even after installing new injection lines.

I agree with you. I put a new pump and injectors in one once and don't remember having any trouble. It's been close to 30 years since I had that thing though. I'm scratching my head as to why it would do that. HMMMM,if I remember right it would run on one if it was about to run out of fuel. Geez, are you getting any fuel out of the drip tube on either injector? How long have you let it sit and run to see if it would work its self out?
