Does anyone know the approximate length, width, height and weight of a John Deere 5 Bottom Pull Behind Plow? I don't know the model number as the plow is in Wisconsin and I am in Florida.

Thanks

The JD 777 5x14 is about 16 feet long, 8 feet wide, and can be loaded by a IH 574 with loader, but it won't lift much more. I would guess about 1700-1900 lbs. May be only 14 feet long if you remove the hitch. Hope this helps.

If you have a loader available to load and unload it will fit on a car trailer.

My three bottom JD plow measures 70" wide x 120" long without the hitch. The hitch can be easily removed for transport...just two bolts. For a 5 bottom add about 2 ft. in lenght for each bottom and 14 or 16" in width depending on the bottom size. The width can also change depending on the type of wheels. There are so many variables because of all the options for all those years. Height can be reduced by lowering the levers or removing them for transport. This can make the plow about 30" high. Weight...does it really matter? They weigh a whole lot less than an average size JD tractor.

Not sure but I think it may depend on the row size. I can tell you it is bigger and heavier than you would think. We have a JD 3-16. Hauling it was an experience I do not care to repeat. I underestimated it's size.
