How do I find the original owner of my 2N Ford tractor? Can I locate the owner from the serial number? Dale

I suppose that it is theoretically possible... The original selling dealer would no doubt have recorded the serial number and the original buyer. I spose if you could convince a dealer to go on a wild goose chase of 60 year old paperwork in the hopes that he was the original seller, you might get lucky. That's all assuming that the tractor is local, there was only one dealer at the time, and he's still the dealer....which most are not today.
I wish you well, but I think you're wasting you time. 'Here', all tractors are required to be registered and plated for road travel, and most are, so the DMV would have those records.

I don't think so. Not sure you coulda ever found out.

Ford had a big fire some decades ago, & lost a lot of info on this type of serial info - so if it woulda been possible, it wouldn't be now.

Hire a one of them physic people. I know it must have been a real party, but if ye can think back that far, go to whoever you got the tractor and ask them.
