I wasn't sure how to transfer the listing here.Someone will know.

Never seen a 3 row narrow superpicker before.Looks like a sweet unit. ~brad

Whoever said the auction idea was "innovative",you should know that not one bid was made on ebay.Probably sold at the auction for a thousand bucks.Could have pulled 2500 if listed only on ebay.Innovative?OOOOKAY....

The ebay bidders are really just bidding like the ones at the live auction just can put their bids in ahead of time

What anoies me is the insistant in the first paragraph that the higest bidder gets the item... Then goes on to say that maybe not. If you are the high e-bay bidder then you get to go to round two.

Sellers and E-bay make a big deal that this is a leagle contract. If so then once the e-bay time gavel goes down then that should be it. SOLD!...

Let the live bidders put their bid into e-bay.

I also avoid bidders premimums, must be pre-approved, and $.01 sales with $100.00+ shipping.

Lots of auctions going that way now and it can be a pain for the buyers attending live auction. If you don't like it just don't participate or go or hire your own buyer giving them a limit of what you will pay and then you'll have to pay their commission too. If you really want something and have a limit call it in to auctioneer and then go do your thing and not worry and wait for auctioneer to call end of day if you got it. I've done that several times buying things site unseen with a reputable auctioneer when I couldn't attend because of bad weather or other reasons.

Since this is a well known auctioneer I would say there is nothing wrong with this. I watch auction on the TV and they have call in bids and there is nothing wrong with it. When they start the auction they said they would bring up the Ebay site and see what the high bid is and start from there with the bidder on line so he can keep up with the bidding. sounds good to me. this give people who can't make it to the auction a chance to bid.

Very nice picker, and very desirable around here.

I will NOT touch that auction, however. Seems to be more complicated and too much bullcrap.

There is always something going on at autions. Everyone has larceny on their minds. I gave up on them years ago.

I think that stinks. I want no part of it. Same with buyer's premiums, I will not go to that auction.

What gets me are the ebay sellors who add on a buyers premium. I avoid regular auctions that have buyers premiums.

My neighbor has a 3 row pull type NI picker like the one shown on ebay. It works great, he pulls it with a 4020 JD, seems like he goes normal speed.

Polk was using at JD sale in IL I was at was on the phone also to the ebayer. It did seem to pull down the beat of selling. Caused dead time while the ebayer entered the bid. My view only.

There are many modern ways of attracting bidders and using ebay is one of them. They are up front in what they are doing and if the item sells at the live auction, them the ebay listing will be cancelled.

I believe they are being very innovative for selling the item... Gene

That is unusual.

Dealer was asking $1000 or so for one here 3 years ago.

Wonder how the 12 rolls & the elevator handle 3 rows? I have to slow down a bit for the elevator on my 2-38 picker at times.
