I have a 1970 Jim Dandy with tandem transmission. It was in a flood a couple of years ago and after a little work got it running. What I didn't realize was that there was water in the transmission. After sitting over the winter the rear transmission seized up. Does anyone have any suggestions on some solvent or anything that would free the transmission ? Any help would be apprecicated.

you might want to open it up and see if you need to manually clean it out. I bought a used dozer once, only had like 2600 hours on it, but somebody used it in a swamp, deep water, or something. It had milky oil, sludge in the bottom and it made the clutch pack linings separate, fall apart, etc.
