I just bought it and was trouble shooting the oil pressure light and when I opened up the panel to check wiring. I saw that some one had done some re wiring and splicing and wires cut. I am not getting any power to the oil pressure light or fuel gauge and the generator is inop. So I think I need to start from square one with a wiring diagram and re wire it.

Parts book. JD parts counter can print it off in seconds. Otherwise the shop manual.

The one in the shop manual isn't worth a DARN. To see for yourself, look it up on jdparts.com.

A helpful service manager can copy a REAL diagram off, though.

I have the correct shop manual and parts book in vintage print versions and I find the wiring diagrams very good. Its important to match the tractor and the wiring diagram, else it all stinks.

I have the vintage parts books, as well, and they're sure no substitute for the SHOP manual!
