It's a 25 year old machine with limited parts availability. Needs to be cheap, cheap.

Need a little more info. I've ran an L775 but didn't like it too much. It was jerkier than other machines I've used but the biggest complaint was that you sit down too low and can't see the bucket cutting edge with a dirt bucket. This is a real disadvantage to working faster and doing more precise work. With a snow bucket you can't see the edge on any machine. The New Hollands are good for lifting because of the longer wheel base but aren't really as heavy duty as other makes for commercial type work. Thet are more geared towards farms and such. If you've never ran a skid steer, sit on a few others and check on visibilty. Not just the bucket but all around to see if lift arms or other things block your view. As for price, most skid steers in decent shape will go down to a certain level and stay there. Without knowing the year or hours I'd guess maybe $6500 to about $8500 depending. How much maintenance was done makes a difference. I could be way off as well. It pays to look around. It's also not a bad idea to have a good mechanic check a machine over. Hydraulic and especially hydrostatic repairs can be very pricey. I know. I just had to put a new wheel motor in mine. $1380 just for the motor without labour to change it. They thought it might have had a fault from the factory but is several years old so I had to foot the entire bill of $2600. Hope this helps. Dave
