I just wanted to let all know about this guy.The majority of the people on this site are honest. However like all phases of life there are a few people that that dont have any morals. their only goal is to accomplish their own selfish desires at any cost to others. I am on this site every day and enjoy it a lot. however there is that small percentage that have to mess it up for all honest people. So this is my experience with DAVE FOLTZ,Rushville Ohio.On Aug 26 He ran an ad for n.o.s.We came to an agreement on price. Got some Junk I didnt need.the parts I needed werent in the box.I called his wife she said he will call back.2 days later I called again. Wife said parts were in the box, he would call. called again wife said he was working on tractor he would call. called again daughter said he was working on mower he would call.called again he was at his dads they had to go to work would call the next day.called again got a recording.I realized on the second call what was going on.I thought I would give him a fair chance. so much for honesty on his part. The box the parts came in was 3.5 ins. by 12ins. houdini couldnt even get all those parts shown in the ad. you be the judge. Sorry I am so long winded just wanted to get out the facts and let all know. And hope the best to all honest people on this site.

Give us his number so we can all harass him.. Then he'll think twice about conning somebody again.

Fairfield County Ohio
Lancaster,Ohio, Prosecuters Office 740-653-4259
Fax 740-653-4708.

Don't know how much money you're dealing with here but give them a call, they can at least advise you of your options and you may be able to get them to make a call for you and give the guy some advice.

If he used the U.S. Postal Service to send you that box of "parts," go to your local post office and report a case of "Fraud Committed Via the Postal Service." Supply them with all information you have (i.e., copies of e-mails with complete message headers, phone records, etc.).

The worst thing to do about a case like this is nothing, 'cause it leaves the scammer free to victimize others.

Hope you derive satisfaction from this unfortunate turn.

Contact his county prosecuting attorney, which you can find out who, by doing a search to get to his city web page, and make him on notice that this guy has done theft by swindle. Any theif of any amount needs to be hammered on.

Keep records. Take pictures. Find as many people he has conned that you can, like you are doing here. Send those records and pictures to the Sheriffs office of his county.
This is what happened in NY state several years back and I was able to get most of what I had paid for. My deal was a tractor I bought and the fellow then started to sell parts off of it. The Sheriff Deputy even helped me load the tractor and parts and then offered to feed me supper at his house. The hood, grill, and manifold was not as pictured but I told the deputy I would except what was there rather than come back. I am in Ohio.
Taking action will be the only way to stop this person. Just talking about it will not. Plenty of people to con that does not read this site.

New Old Stock. Parts that are old or obsolete but have never been used. May have been manufactured twenty, thirty or more years ago but never been out of the box. Parts that for all intents and purposes are new unless it is something that has a shelf life like paint.
