Hello Everyone-- I recently purchased a 1944 Farmall H and want to restore it. This will be my first and I am in no hurry. Just wanted to find some people who would be good resources in the central Indiana area. Let me know.

I should have looked before I replied earlier. Franklin Co. Antique Farm machinery show at the Brookville Fairgrounds. 3.00/person but it doesn't give times. Sept.27 - 30. Just look under Brookville In., visitor information then calendar of events. Sounds like it will be nice but it will be hard to beat the event they had in Portland In. a few weeks ago.
Good luck with your tractor

by the way, look into International Harvester Club Chapter #7. They have an event called fall tillage that is in Warren IN on October 6. Also There is a Show and Swap in Brown County October 27 at Fairgrounds. Send me a personal message with email and We can try to keep each other informed

Actually I just hauled my first tractor home Sunday, 1948 Farmall C and need the same info. I talked to a gentleman at the Pleasantview Heritage Day Saturday and he said there is a gentleman in Franklin In. that has parts. Don't know where in Franklin but they are suppose to be having a tractor event in Brookville In. in 2 weeks and he said he will probably be there. Thought I would go and try to track him down.If that is true then he is almost your neighbor

I believe he said Oct.6 I was going to look around on the internet to see if I could find anything. If not it's not that far so I will drive down and ask around. If I find out anything I'll try to let you know.

Where in central Indiana? You might be interested in joining Central Indiana Antique Tractor & Engine Association. Next meeting is October 10th. 7:PM in the annex building, Hamilton County Fairgrounds,on Pleasant Street just behind Tractor Supply, Noblesville, In. Lots of help available there.Maybe I'll even be able to make it to the meeting.
