I recently purchased a Ford 801 Power Master. The fenders are in rough shape. I want to replace them with correct fenders. The problem is one fender has FORD script on it and the other has no FORD script. Which one is correct?

The 801 had Ford script on the fenders. I couldn't find replacements for the 801 with script when I refurbished it a few years ago. I think you can get scripted fender "shells" the bolt onto the fender frame -such as for 8N and/or NAA.

A friend just bought a 1962 Ford 871, he is the second owner...No script on the fenders. He even recieved the original owners manual with it.

My 1955 860 has script fenders must have been a change from 800 to 801's..

With out looking I can not be 100% sure but I think they should have ford on them. I haven't really noticed what if on the fenders on my 841 but I think they have ford script on them.
