Lots of frost on the ground here this morning.

Most of my crops are far enough along to take it.

Are there crops in your area that will be damaged?

Not yet in our neighborhood. A few northern counties were under an advisory and it seemed like it was freezing last night, but that was only because the fiance and myself were at the Eve of Destruction down at the race track.

Bus figure 8's, trailer races, the whole she-bang. Lots of stuff getting smashed and blown up. Even got one bus to roll onto it's side. And to top it off, they have 2 jet cars every year that get chained to 2 cars stacked on top of each other and they melt 'em down. Green Mamba and the Red Beer Wagon. Green Mamba is my favorite one- he really gives a good show.

Now she's sick, and I gotta go to my newest nephew's baptism tomorrow without her...

Got a bit cool here I think we broke 65 last night after reaching 101 yesterday and should make it again today. And NO it is NOT a dry heat. Not this time of year in Tucson

27 here this morning in SE MN. Most plants got zapped. Should be good for the beans as it killed the weeds and the few green bean plants that never want to rippen.

Not yet, hope I can say that in the morning. It was 36 here in mid Michigan this morning, calling for just as cold or colder tonight. I hope to start chopping corn this afternoon. Figures,it'll freeze, then they are saying 80s again by mid week,so it's gonna get real dry real quick.

Hi all,, I find this frost subject very interesting as we just had our first killing frost night before last and im only 11 miles from the border. (Canadian that is)
We are so much farther north but i wounder if our long day length is still helping us out.
In the summer its very light at 5 am and still good to go at 10 at night.
Then in the dead of winter we get less than 8 hours a day light :(

Kind of hard for us to have a frost when the low temp last night was 70°
Sure does feel good out there though. First time we have been as low as 70° in a few months and the humidity is down because the front has goon threw. Going down to 62° tonight.

Here is east central Missouri I had just a wee bit of frost this morning. Just a little on the truck and some on the grass. Noticed the neighbors late beans that are still completely green looked a little peeked this morning. Funny though, nobody else around had any frost, just a small half mile circle or so around me.

Nope. Not yet. We used to get frost early Sept, but last few years its been way later. This is at 5000 foot elevation too.

We had frost yesterday morning here in north central NE. Had to scrape the pickup windows before I took to kids to school. Don't think was cold enough to hurt anything.

No damage but had to scrape windows. Grandpa had a hard frost on the 4th of July in 1964,lost all his corn.

No frost here in AZ third party image

Back home in ND, Dad said it was 26 degrees when he woke up. His wheat is all harvested so no problems for him. Mom still has some tomatoes in the garden, she covered them but I don't know how they did.
