Hauling - DesMoines to Tulsa

I need to have two Willys pickups hauled from just outside DesMoines to about 50 miles west of Tulsa (Cushing). Thought someone might be dead heading and need something to haul. Bumper to bumper these things are about 15'. I have actually purchased three PU's but I will meet some in DesMoines with my PU and trailer to haul one.

A less desirable, but workable, way would be to get two hauled to a point in southern Kansas or southern Missouri and unload. I could then make shorter trips to that point to pick the two up.

Anybody interested or have other suggestions to help me solve this situation? I posted on the hauling board - but no feedback. Thanks! Bob

There's a website called uship they talk about on ebay. I've never used it but they say you can list what you need hauled and got bids on hauling it. The haulers that have done it before have feedback listed. Lee

Come middle of January there will a hundred race cars(Midgets to the Chili Bowl)traveling that route. Not sure how to get a message out to them but they may be interested in a little gas money.

Bob, if you find you need to do the short hual type of thing your welcome to a little bit of space on my farm here at the lake of the ozarks area of Missouri. I have enough room here that one or 10 more things will not hurt a thing. I'm just 25 mile north of I-44 which is the road most people take to get to the Tulsa area. E-mail is open by the way

Rich - Thanks for the offer to lay over these pickups at your place. I think I have figured out how to get everything in one load delivered to Oklahoma. If you need something I can help you with - just holler. Thanks again. bob f.

Bob,

Put an ad over on the left side of this page under "hauling schedule". You'll get your ride.

Allan - Sorry I misspelled your name in my first reply. Wasn't a typo - just careless.

Allen - Thanks for the reply. Was posted about two weeks ago but I'll post again there.

Thanks again - and while I'm at it I want to tell you that I really enjoy your posts - some are very informative and some are funny. I lurk here just about every day - don't post often. You have a way with words that gets to the point without a lot of BS. I've watched you fiddle with the loaders, the grapple, the cab, the painting, buying the new PU, wife and the horses, being bucked off, the SUV, having the 966 (or something) overhauled, etc., etc.. Enjoyed them all. Thanks again! bob
