How do I go about wiring this tractor with electronic ignition? Any help appreciated.

Buy a Pertronix unit and install according to the instructions. Save the old parts in case someone else wants to change it back.

I put one in our 3020 working tractor and there wasn't any cobbling. Removed the original breaker plate and put in the Pertronix one and then put on the rotor for the pertronix and reasemble the distributor as normal.

Why cobble-up such a good tractor. Will be worth much more with original components than Jerry-rigged. Tom

It's --NOT-- being cobbled up! I have electronic ignition in most of my putt-putts and you would never see a thing that looked different. The only thing that is different is inside the distributor.
