Ahhhhh . the good old days! I'm thinking that thing will bring a smile to someone's face if you decide to sell it. Not mine in particular, but someone's. Back in the late '70's I had a friend that went into his garage and pulled out an old factory aluminum 2x4bbl manifold from behind some junk for a small block Chevy, but had no clue what it came from and asked me. One look at it said that it came off of a late '50's or early '60's Corvette, I don't recall now. Brought a smile to my face. Only problem was where to find the Strombergs that fit it...back then? I'm thinking that he probably traded it for a bottle of beer to someone that thought they'd stick a couple of Holleys onto that much smaller Stromberg flange, found out that they couldn't, and it probably ended up in a land fill somewhere. I had no use for it, but that thing was worth some $$$ even back in the late '70's to the person that needed it for a restoration, and of course couldn't find one. Ahhhhh h, the good old days! Blast it, glass bead it, mount it on some stand offs, set it in the middle of the dining room table with some flowers sticking out of it, and tell the Mrs. "Happy Anniversary Dear!!!". Naw, if you do that, she's likely to sandblast and glass bead a cast iron skillet, konk you over the head and say, "You too Dear". Ha Ha Ha Ha.
