Any of you ever fooled with either a Whizzer or a Cushman? I've got an old Cushman Package Kar I am rebuilding and had a Whizzer about 40 years ago. I'd like find either one in repairable condition for this winters project. I'm not willing to remortgage the place to buy one, but I'd pay a fair price if somebody has one eating up shed space.

I had a whizzer years ago. pushed it many miles. You can buy a new one for around three thousand.

I don't think Whizzers are that pricey. There's a dealer a mile from me. He might be able to set you on the right track. 989 291 3200. My brother had a Cushman, don't know if he ever sold it or not,I know he never got the ambition to restore it.

The local hardware has one of the reproduction Whizzers for sale...around $1400.

I'd like to know if your brother would part with the old Cushman...rather have one of them anyway.

My Whizzer was a Sportsman....looked like a miniature Harley..built on 24" wheels and all the bells and whistles. Wish I still had it. Worst trouble I recall was the mag would get out of adjustment and you'd lose fire. That thing was a hoot to ride. Only about 1.5 HP and it'd do about 40 mph.

Back in 1956 I had a cushman scooter. A couple years ago I found one about the same year as the one I had, and bought it. I have intentions of restoring it someday also along with my 68 yamaha DT1. my 36 indian four,my harley 125, my honda 50,and my AJS single, and my 52 plymouth. Just keeping up with my work tractors keeps me busy. I think I might run out of time. Might give my Grand Kids something to do. Stan
