The MXM120 is the same as the New Holland TM series and more accurately the TM120. 456 cu.ci. 6 cylinder engine with 120 engine HP and 95 PTO HP rated at 2200 rpm. It has Range Command 18x6 as the standard transmission and Power Command 18x6 as the optional transmission although the name may differ. Some of the older TM/MXM's were available with the Dual Command 24x24.Also has a 75 gal. fuel tank and 25 gpm hydraulics and weighs just over 10000#.And in comparsion the JX1100U has a 273cu.ci rated at 98 HP and 85 PTO HP and is rated at a slightly higher 2500 rpm.Transmission options are 24x24 Dual Command or 20x12 synchmesh or 12x12 synchronized shuttle.33.5 gal fuel tank and 15.5 GPM.It would be the same as the TL100a which in my opinion aren't all that heavily built compared to the TS-A or TM( Maxxum and MXM)It depends what you do with haying. If you run any type of discbine over 9 ft you'll most likely want the MXM. The
JX-U will handle up to a 4x6 round baler though it may get lugged down in any thing wet(ie. balage) See how much a Maxxum cost.Much better tractor than the JX-U but again same engine in the smaller ones but anything over 110 HP and you'll be getting the much larger 411cu.ci.Your choice and if your doing all lighter work than the JX-u will do just fine. Any heavier work and you'll want the MXM
