Just got a new computer at Best Buy and it came with Windows Vista. Anybody got this on their computer? Is there any way to make things bigger? Everything is so small that I am having a hard time reading the pages even with my glasses on. Pictures come up small. Had windows XP on old one ane liked it better. Have to stop at Best Buy this afternoon and see it anything can be done, but I doubt it. Chris

Chris,
I just bought a new computor with the Windows Vista a few weeks ago and I was told it"s easyer to run than the XP. Right now I"m back using the XP! Never had so much trouble tuneing in the windows vista. Just my opinion XP better! Good luck with your new windows vista. Mike

The general opinion on computing forums is that Vista is worse than XP in many respects. A lot of companies are not planning on upgrading, but consumers buying a new PC have no choice. third party image

My girlfriend just got a new laptop. It has Vista on it. Strangely, she just LOVES Vista. Proving once again she's a little--different. But we knew that already. Look who she picked for a boyfriend!!

Press on your Ctrl key and then spin the wheel on the mouse.

Works for me.

There's a couple of ways to make everything bigger. Here's one: RIGHT click anywhere on the main desktop. Click on 'Personalize'. Click on 'Display Settings'. See what the resolution is set at. If it's 1024 X 768 (for example) then slide the pointer to the left to 800 X 600 (for example). Then click on the 'apply' button to make the change. Hope this helps.

If you go to View at the top of the page and scroll down to "text size" you should be able to change it there.
