Off topic but there's a lot of knowledge on here.I've got an '04 Dodge 2500, 4X4, Automatic with 5.7 Hemi. 75,000 miles. It was running fine, then as we were going along about 60 mph, it got a vibration. That ended up being a bad engine miss. It won't idle, and dies unless I keep rpms up above 1000. Hard to safely stop (power brakes/power steering) No shops open in our town after noon. Stopped in an Advance Auto and had them hook up their diagnostic computer here's the codes I got. DTC (Codes) P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected P0113 IAT Sensor ! Misfire Detected P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor A - Bank 1 Curcuit Malfunction P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction DTC Pending (codes) P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected *These codes indicate a malfunction in certain systems or components. Proper diagnosis should be performed by a mechanic or through prper diagnostics outlined in the service manual for your vehicle* Any clues? A friend who was a dealer mechanic at a Ddge dealership (albiet transmissions) suggested, and I changed all 8 coil packs and all 16 spark plugs. (yes, 2 per cylinder) No change in how it runs or the codes. TIA
