I can see the clearing line off to the north west here in mid Michigan. Looks like it's over. We got 3.5 inches of rain over the past week,no damage. There was a tornado in the NE corner of the county Wednesday,up RayPs way. A lot of trees down. Another one south of here yesterday, damage to 15 homes,7 people injured. We've been super lucky in this one for good slow soakers and no damage.

rr - great to meet you today at the Blanchard Steam Show today. Also your wife, sister and brother-in-law. Nice to visit for a while.

Storm damage: I watched the storm go over here, it hit down about 5 miles east of me. Two F1 tornadoes, apparently, according to NWS. Lots of tree damage, some property damage including a center pivot irrigation system. There was nothing to indicate the severity of the storm here, and I'm a trained skywarn observer of many years.

You met my brother-in-law at Blanchard. Friday's storm in Charlotte area skipped over his home. His sister's home took some tree damage and the cornfield was flattened adjacent to their home. His brother lives about three miles North of sister. He didn't sustain any damage. Storm went between them. All three were very lucky. There were a number of others who lost homes, other buildings in that incident.

West central Il here. This go round we have been lucky, not much over 2 to 3 inches in immediate area. As close as about 30 miles away they have had 5 to 10 or more. Our big one came earlier this year, over 10 inches in about 3 hours. Washed out several culverts around Argyle State Lake area, one of which prevented me from delivering mail for two days to 3 residences. Damaged MANY other culverts, I will be glad when the county finally gets them all replaced. Sure is funny that the culvert that washed out preventing access to earlier mentioned places was back in in two days, with enough rock placed to prevent another washout. This was on a township road. The county road ones are taking much longer. I am tired of the detours, no good way to go around. Just my 2 cents worth.

we are in stephenson il on il wi state line on high ground. about 13 inches of rain since aug 3. the pecatonica river is about 3 miles south west of us. runs to rock river near rockford il. i've heard lots of damage along the rock and many people have had lots of water damage to homes. i haven't heard of much crop damage but i'm sure there has been some. m-i-l asked mrs 730 if we have washed away yet. mrs 730 told her we are watching out the window to see if animals are lining up 2 by 2 waiting for noah. if we get washed away noah will be building another ark as we are on top of high hill.

7 inches at my place and a few creek fences out. About 20 miles NE they got 17.5 inches. Many washed out bridges and roads. Two towns wiped out and 7 killed.

Well monday we got between 7 and 12 inches of rain. Lost count on how much because after the first 7 inches the rain gauge had filled and over flowed. Messed up a lot of stuff in the area. Took out roads here and there, a few bridges and my drive way is still a mess and thats after working on it for 8 hours or so. Last night it rained again but this time we only got 1/2 inch of rain so we are ok unless we get a lot more. Oh by the way this in the lake of the ozarks area of Missouri

We were in Lexington the 24th of July, they said they'd had over 4 inches in July at that time. Course when were there a month earlier, they were worse off than we were.

Tween Cedar and Kent City here, north west Kent county. Lots of rain but no damage either. The pastures sure need the moisture, would have been better 2 months ago. Was watching TV 13 the other night when the tornado touched down up there by Shepherd. Glad there wasn't much damage.
