Does anyone know how much pressure and how many gallons per minute those PTO pumps used on the IH planters will develop?

Need some type of pump that puts out 22 gallon per min at 1800 lbs. pressure.

Also, how big of reservoir is needed to keep the oil cool running a pump like this?

If you need 22 gallon. your pump rating must be larger as all pumps are rated on theoretical displacement. Also on the reservoir, what are you using the pump for? Motors build more heat than normal cycle times for cylinders. How are you driving the pump and at what RPM is the pump to run?

Trying to drive a hydraulic motor on a belt conveyor swing hopper.

Will go on the 1000rpm shaft of a tractor and run about 800 to a 1000 rpm.

Gary,

How's 'bout a pump from a hydro swing swather?

Those little pumps on the planters had a huge cooler mounted at the air intake of the fan.

Allan do you know any of the specs on those pumps?

This swing hopper is only about 12' long to slide under trucks. And it dumps into a 115' 540PTO powered conveyor.

The 12 row 800 pumps are rated at 18 gpm. It seems like I remember hearing that without an oil cooler the reservoir needs one gallon of capacity for every gpm of pump flow.
