Well some say WD40 is garbage but I've had good luck with this method. Put at least a cup of WD40 (maybe PB Blaster or Kroil is better, a product called ReleaseAll would be good) in each cylinder. If the engine doesn't have a block heater you'll need one on it. Make sure the engine is full of coolant. Plug it in for a day or two, then unplug it for a day then plug it in again. Do this for about a week or longer. I've done several tractors this way. When the coolant heats up it will expand the cylinder wall before it heats the piston. This allows the WD40 to seep into the piston/cylinder wall area and break down the rust. This is why you need to repeatedly heat and cool the engine. The continual expansion and contraction allows the WD40 to penetrate. Then try to turn the engine. I've done this by removing the starter and using a prybar on a ring gear tooth (be careful here not to over-do it). It's best if you can get a pipe wrench on the front crank pulley. You also need to work the engine in both directions. Sometimes they come quite easily and sometimes more patience is needed. This method is where you start. If you don't succeed then pull the head so you can tap the pistons with a block of wood between. The prvious scenario will help much even if you have to remove the head. Once the head is off you will see the extent of your problem. If the cylinders actually got water in over a period of time there is not much you can do but tear it down. I would not recomend using diesel fuel and certainly never brake fluid.

Would most like be a 6 volt system unless it has an alternator on it then it would be 12 volt. It all depends on why its stuck as to weather or not you can unstick it with out a complete rebuild. I have had some that where stuck for years and I got the loose and others that where stuck for just a year or 2 and not had any luck all depends on why they are stuck. My self I use tranny fluid and fill the cylinders and let it sit till it does pop free. I have an H here that sat under a tree for 25 plus years and it was stuck but in less then a week I was driveing it and all I did was tranny fluid and a simple tune up and a new/used gas tank

I don't know if you've heard of this or not old. I saw on Machinery of the Past where a guy had one built about 1909 that had been stuck for decades. He said he put fuel oil in the cylinders and heated it for about a week with a pencil heater. Loostened it right up. He didn't heve much choice,it was one of those old engines that didn't have a removable head, pistons came out the bottom. It would be interesting to see if it works for anybody else.

well if its been stuck that long if i was you.. i would pull the head & clean out cyl's soak up with kroil or what ever u use ? besides WD-40 ( should been outta busness yrs ago for selling non working stuff) i have good luck with pb blaster when im outta kroil best soak it a good week , then tap on tops of pistons with a block of wood ( I said Tap NOT BEAT )Soak some more, if that dont move any remove oil pan & start taken rods off & see if you can push up on pistons
