Purchased a grain truck with twin stick transmission. When it is time to shift the main and auxiliary trans, how to do?

All depends on how there set up. I have driven a good number of them and some you shith the aux in to low and go through all the gears in the mani box. Others you do it the other way around. Should have a thing on the viser that will tell you just how it should be done for that truck. I have 3 of them on my place right now and they are or can be a hand full to drive

Arthur, Start out with both boxes in low, shift thru aux box first, when aux is in high, shift main box to next gear then shift aux box to low gear and start going thru gears again, Lots of double clutching. Good Luck. Grind em and find em.

I have never driven a"two sticker" My favorite trans is a 13 speed. I have been told on the two sticks the thing to remember is to make sure you never have both sticks in neutral at the same time or it is time to coast over to the side of the road and start over. Learnin' to shift this thing is going to be fun. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. Tom
