I got to work today to find out a co-worker's wife passed away in her sleep. They were only in their 30's so it was rather unexpected, even though she did have some issues with arthritis and maybe a few other health issues.

It really gets bad because he was just filing ofr bankruptcy over some credit card debt he married into and they couldn't make any headway on. She had a son who is about 12 or 13, not his but he raised him like his own, because the kid's real dad is a deadbeat from what I've heard.

No idea what to say at this point. Makes a guy stop a minute to re-evaluate things. I've only met her once or twice but she was a really nice gal and you could tell they had a very strong relationship, despite the financial troubles and problems with ex's. (his and hers)

Keep him and especially the boy in your prayers.

My maternal grandmother died at 26 of an annurism (sp?). That left my Granpa and some very loving relatives to raise my Mom and 3 sisters. Needless to say they turned out o.k. but lived in several different places, not always together, until they all eventually found husbands and settled down. My prayers go out to that family.

I had a doctor tell me one time that alot of people that die in their sleep have sleep apnea, you quit breathing while asleep which lowers the oxygen level in your blood which stresses the heart and causes a heart attack. I'm not saying that caused hers but as advise to everyone to be aware of this. My prayers go out to him and his family.

Only in her 30's, thats bad. When you find out chime in on what her cause of death was. My wife is in bad health for being 37, high blood pressure, high cholestol. If she went in her sleep I can only think that its a heart attack or something.
