i have a 1927 willys doodlebug with no air cleaner anyone give me advice on making something that'lle work any info would be great

Any equipment salvage yards near you? Old combines would have good air cleaners on them and other tractors and engines there too. adeptr.com

I agree with OLD.. either get a K&N type ( yuck! ).. or get an oil bath air filter from something like a ford 8n and find a place to bolt it on..

Theres a few ways you could do that. One is to find a motorcycle shop and look at there air cleaners I'm sure you would find one that would work or you could make one from a tractor fit also just by mounting it some place and then bending pipe and hooking up hoses to do the job. I did that on the machine we call WHATS-IT, see it in my web site. I bent pipe and then put a small oil bath cleaner at the top of the pipe sort of look neat with it up as high as the exhaust
