I call these tractors[ jumping beans ] cause it jumps at everything as soon as you try to let up on the clutch, the ones with the powershift that is.

That thing makes a 2-cylinder John Deere look GOOD!

(Before you flame me, I must confess I owned one of those THINGS for about 10 years, and many $$$$ for the powershift and final drives. NOT the best choice for heavy tillage!)

Yes. The air intake is under the hood. There are 2 air filters and they are in a compartment in front of the windshield under the hood. Its a turbo charged engine so clean air is needed for proper efficiency. Its got lots of power but I don't have much hard work for it to do...I just liked the way it looked and sounded.

If the tractor in the picture is like mine, the air intake is under the hood. Mine has a plastic breather tube which is routed over the top of the radiator. I guess the engineers thought the front grill would filter out some of the big stuff.

I always try to keep the grill clean because I figure if it is plugged the only place for intake air is backwards through the radiator. I bet that makes it hard for the ole gal to breathe.

I've never had a Case, but I've always liked this style & color.
