Myers implements 574-294-1008 is just South of Elkhart off of the bypass. Myers has a grave yard and used tractors for sale. Bates is in Bourbon and is a big online IH parts supplier. They have salvage tractors in there in Bourbon. Do a key word search and you can find Bates's phone #.

Is Myers the place on the east side of 19 north of Nappanee? I drive the roads down there on a weekly basis but everytime sombody mentions the bypass I get confused, lol.

Yes. That"s Myers. Not a huge selection of stuff depending on what you"re looking for. There is a place Pretty much due west of Myers call Hines and sons. Only open on Sunday and Monday. They probably have one of anything ever made... Go in the winter when the weeds have been knocked down by the snow.

Hi Michael, I am very glad to hear you are going to fix her up. What exactly is wrong with your old engine?, does it only need rebuilding?. Case IH dealer told me International used that D-179 engine in some skid steers too.

Jon, I think someone ran it with no oil in the engine. I bought it like this, he said it was knocking bad which it was. The tractor looks like its been driven to hell and back so I would like to see if I could find a used running engine instead of rebuilding it. Theres also a few other parts I would like to find. And if I do rebuild the engine then I would like to fix the rest of the tractor up.

There are several yards in the area. The best known is probably Dennis Polk in Nappanee IN but they are VERY expensive when it comes to used parts to often. I would suggest Stamms in Wayland, they have a good selection and are better on prices. There is also a yard here in Grant, Reutters. I enjoy doing business with them because they are close and have good prices. There is a yard in St Johns but not sure of the name.

Worthington Ag is just north of Ft Wayne, IN

They have a website.

I've visited the yard. There are probably bigger ones out there, but they had quite a few tractors in various stages of disassembl.
