I'm posting this here as i tried on a computer help board and to be honest I was treated like an idiot.

I went to a site for the local fair to find the schedule. They had a streaming video for the truck and tractor pull but when it starts running all I get is a green screen. I am running IE 7 if that helps and recently upgraded Windows Media Player.

Try this first - in media player, turn down video acceleration a little at a time until it improves. (tools -> options -> performance)

If this doesn't help, reinstall IE7. If it works at first, then goes green again later, it's an automatic update problem. Reinstall a 2nd time. Then in Control Panel set automatic updates to notify you of updates, but not auto install them. Then pick and choose updates to install. Eventually MS will fix the update with another update!

If you get frustrated, you can also rollback to IE6 by uninstalling IE7 in Add/Remove programs in Control Panel. MS will continue to bug you about updating to IE7, but there are freebie update blockers available to avoid that problem.

If you have a dial-up connection, the streaming video will not work. I have DSL, and those streaming videos still don't work worth a hoot. I think you need a cable connection or something equally fast.
