I have a John Deere 207 Gyramor Rotary Cutter serial number 001. Is it worth anything?

The 001 is the series number. They did not use individual serial numbers. The reason I know is because I recently purchased both a parts catalog and an owners manual on E-Bay.

Like the other's have said, probably not. What I think Deere did at least in the case of my FB Drill, They would put serial numbers on by year, as my FB Drill is SN 516, yet I've seen another 516 at Tri-Greens when I went looking for a plow one time.

So it could very well be No 1, but for that year depending on when yours was made.

Just my guess,

Christos

Read it again. It says series number or that's what the 001 means as they didn't put serial numbers on many JD implements then and even the operators manual will have a place inside to record the series number but not a serial number.

Series 001 would be the first model of production but if that model was made for 10 years then it could be from the first year or the tenth year of production. No way to know.
