Give me the run down on these set ups. You print it out at home and never go to post office. What is good and what is bad?? I am looking into this.

I use it all the time to send stuff that I sell on E-bay. If you have at least one package that is Priority mail then they will come right to your doorstep and pick it up. makes things real nice because you don't have to go to town to send a package. Get a good set of mail Scales though because they will weigh it again and then send it back if its not correct. I go around all the time with my local PO but they always win. Can't fight them even if you are right.

Maybe unrelated to your system but interesting perhaps. I may be misinformed but just a little story that I heard from a beef farmer. There is a cattleman / packers law of some nature saying after the cattle are at the packing house a envelope with a check must be postmarked in so many days. The local packing house supposidly got there own postage set up and canceled the stamped envelope in the correct amount of days. However the checks never left the packing house as would be assumed. The packing house got fined and the government kept the fine money, but the farmers that were financing the process with late checks got nothing. A semi load of cattle that the check did not get recieved in thirty days regardless of the stamp cancelation date added up to many dollars. The packing house processes 400 cattle per day.

Set up a paypal account. My wife and daughter run a home based business and use it all the time. You can print the labels and the customer gets a notification the package was shipped. The post office takes the money out of your paypal account. You can email the post office and they will stop at your door and pick it up for you if you have a lot going out at once.

Go to the USPS.com website and it works great, I got into a thing called Stamps.com. Boy is that a ripoff. you buy the sheets from them to print the postage on, then you have to pay 15.00 per month for their service, that is a big rip off to me.

I've tried this but according to their website, our address doesn't exist.... so therefore we can't get any of those services.
