I was looking at a guy's stuff today when I saw this tractor on the scrap metal pile. Seems too nice to just scrap. What is it? I didn't crawl over the pile to get any numbers off it.

Jim
I agree it looks like a B.
Serial # should be stamped on a raised flat spot by the shift lever.
Bullet proof old tractors.
I grew up on one.
Trouble with the Bs and Cs is they cost as much to paint, repair, restore as our little Fords but they're only worth about half as much.
I still get a hankering for one now and then.
I know where's a good plow, cultivators and a buzz saw for one.
Best thing about those old Bs and Cs was the wide bench seat that would sit two of you.
Best tractor made to go necking with your sweetheart. Or for hauling grandkids.

I thought AC "B" at first, but the handhole under the tank looks more like a CA????? Either worth saving..

Steering, rear hub, toolbox for no battery, front axle all make it a B.Nothing even close to a CA

Can't see enough from this side. Does it have a starter on the other side? It does appear to have hand brakes. That would make it older than my 1947 and crank start only. Pull it in neutral and give the crank a spin to see if it is free. Serial number is near where the shift handle meets the top of the transmission case. Also looks like a lift handle over the right fender. Is there an implement under it? Those too are highly sought after.

Its an AC B for sure it appears to have the slab weights on the front if so they are worth as much or more as the rest of the tractor

Arched front axle would be a B. Rear wheels look like a B. Seat and steering wheel are not correct for a B. Is serial # available?

The steering arm out of the steering gear box certainly looks like a B.

Looks like an arched axle behind that tire on the white rim. That would make it a Model B. A-B, they're all worth saving- that one looks pretty complete.
