Where can I find a detailed diagram of the fuse block? Someone did a hack 'n whack job on the wiring, and I'm not getting any juice to the wiper switch(the switch is good; if I use a jumper wire for power, it works). The power wire for the wipers(lt. green with a black tracer), according to my Haynes book, comes from the circuit breaker to the switch. A chunk has been cut out of this wire, so I can't follow it back to the breaker.

On my '92 Cherokee, the wiper circuit breaker is mounted horizontally at the bottom of the fuse block. There's nothing at this location on the '88. There are 2 smaller breakers(mounted vertically) in the fuse block, but I'm guessing they go to a heavier-duty application, like the power seats or power windows, as these two breakers are rated at 30 amp vs. 7.5 amp for the wipers.

Basically I need to good pic/description of the fuse block so I can determine where the wiper circuit breaker is located and can then repair the wiring correctly.

Suggestions and opinions are welcome.

Thank you for your time,

Anthony Nubel

There should be a 5.5 amp circuit breaker in the bottom of the fuse box just under the 30 amp circuit breaker for the power windows (if you have power windows). That is according to my manual. It could also be on the left or right depending on if the schematic has been turned.
