i have a Ford 1700, and was wondering what type of coolant to run in it? i wasn't sure if i can run automotive coolant or if there was a special type just for tractors.

If it's an older tractor, gas or diesel it doesn't make much differenc what you use as long as it is strong enough to keep from freezing. If you are in cold country they recommend at least half and half.

Check your manual to see if you need the anti cavitation/electrolysis addative from CNH.. i think it is something like 'F15'.. etc.. can't remember..

If your tractor is a diesel you want the HD stuff with the correct additive package for diesel engines.
