Hey all. When I was growing up, I never liked the looks of 2wd tractors with front fenders. As you get older, seems like your tastes change! I"ve got a JD 4030 open station, now that I"m living in NE, and this state uses really small, sandy pea-gravel on their roads (instead of the white rock of Iowa that I"m used to) and I"m getting tired of getting myself and the operator platform plastered with rocks as I go down the road to bale. Anybody have any experience with the plastic K$M add-on fenders? Any other makes you"d recommend?
Thanks
DJL

Coolest, of course, would be Indian motorcycle fenders, that have kind of a swoopy fender skirt built in. Harley fronts would also look good (squared-off top, some nice chrome).

Just fab up some brackets and use trailer fenders from tractor supply or somesuch.

Of couse most people I know would have them ripped off in short order from banging into something.

wonder if you could fabricate some brackets, and use the carcass of an old truck tire for the actual fender? Would be immune to most impacts!

Should work I would think. would not look nice enough to suit some, but then I use a tractor for work not show.

I think that the german deeres had these fenders...if you could locate a pic, and fab them out of 10 guage metal, that would be awesome.

Don't weld to the spindle, CLAMP down on the spindle bolt.
