I have seen this product for killing grass and weeds on the internet. Has anyone used it? Does it work as good as they say it does?
Says it kills grass/ weeds in minutes. If you have used it before chime in, thanks.

I have a scythe that I keep sharp and when I swing it under my fences I would say those weeds are dead in minutes.
Active ingredient is sweat, followed by H2O and on really bad days ibuprofen (Advil)

Sorry guys, I couldn't resist :)

I find 'kills weeds in minutes' to be a red flag.

The weeds I typically _need_ to kill are deep rooted, perannual weeds that do not die easily.

Roundup (glysophate) takes a couple weeks to kill off Canadian thistles, but - it actually kills them, down to the last root.

Something that pretends to kill a thistle in a few minutes is just burning off the top green plant, but not doing anything to the root mass. So it will be right back in a few weeks, good as ever.

I run into this spraying grass in conventional beans as well. Flexstar will kill off many broadleaves, and it will 'flash' the grasses. It turns them brown - for a short time. Any other grass killer applied at this time will not hurt the grasses now. But the Flexstar doesn't really kill the grasses - just knocks them back a bit. Then the grasses are all back again in a couple of weeks.

I chuckle when I see those consumer squirt bottles of Roundup - now kills weeds in hours.

Yikes, why????? Glysophate does well to travel throught the plant & kills it from the root up. Why add a chemical to it that weakens that effect, just to wilt the weeds some in hours.....

I know nothing of the chemical you are asking about, but call me a skeptic just based on the wording....

Well --- when I spray GAS on weeds or grass -- it also kills grass and weeds in minutes --- the problem is --- next year that all comes back cause the roots are still there ...

From google:

What is Scythe?
Scythe is a broad spectrum post-emergent contact herbicide that has pelargonic acid as it's active ingredient. Pelargonic acid is a naturally occurring fatty acid like what we find in soap. It is much stronger than other fatty acid herbicides on the market.
