The Case/IH shop in my area won't touch a tractor tire that's loaded with calcium chloride since its hard to dispose of here in MD. They recommend
using used ethylene glycol antifreeze since it can be recycled. They claim its not as corrosive
as calcium chloride since they can add a rust inhibitor to the old antifreeze. Hal

When we have one done at our farm, they suck it out back intothe tank that's on the truck. Then they pump it back inot the tires, so you get some of the original stuff, some of what was in the neighbor's tires, and some new stuff as well, because overtime some tires do loose some fluid, due to either a bad valve stem or a puncture. When it's all said and done and you tires are pumped full again, they only charge you for the extra they had to add to top them off.

Can't say I know if the real ag tire guys would even think of disposing of it, only pump it out and put it back in another tire, instead of wasting it.

It can be used however to hold down the dust on your driveway or to melt the ice off in the winter. Plants don't like to grow in it either, and as far as I know there aren't any really big environmental issues of using it for those purposes.

Most will pump it out and then save it till they need to fill another tire.
