Uff-Da!

Don't know which is out of shape more. Me, the saddle, or that pasture fed mare that has been out running wild for over the past year.

Look at the belly on that animal! :>)

Allan, Say if you hadn't said, I thought she was with Foal! and sometime in the future there would have been a new addition to your Farm! This ol girl is surenough an easy keeper, or the groceries at you house are really good. My FIL says you can tell a lot about someone by how well the animals eat and their condition.
I will add it looks likes she hasn't been ridden in a day or two, so let out your sturups one extra hole, take a deep seat, be sure to tell us about the view! LOL!
Have fun.
Later,
John A.

Oh,

She was all right. Just a little rusty is all. Crow hopped a bit, but she got it out of her system in short order. :>)

This is the one that let me have it with both barrels last spring and left me laying out in the middle of the pasture trying to get my wind back.

Good thing I'm not the vindictive sort. :>)

She was probably hoping that you would not be able to cinch up that bucking strap. Looks like she almost made as it appears to be in the last hole. LOL

Yeah,

Just couldn't believe it when I went to put that strap on.

Think when I get to the gelding, I'll probably have to take the thing clear off. Now, that old joker is fat. :>)

Naw looks healthy to me. How are the little ones that the boss came home with last year? I think you were calling the colt Pidge?

Really coming along nicely.

They are all shook down and just need to grow another year before we put 'em under saddle.

Naw,

I lived up in North Dakota for 12 years and it just rubbed off on me.

I'm an old drunken indian.
