None from the Factory. D236 Diesel and C221 CID Gas were production engines for the 460 International and Farmall. Changes could have been made for any number of reasons. A lot of Warranty work was on a ,what is in stock basis.Or some Hot roddding to aquire more power could be done at a Dealers Shop.

My 460 Diesel has a block in it that is stamped 282 but it is really still the original size for the tractor. The original block was broken and a used 560 block along with the original 460 crankshaft were used for repair. New replacement blocks did not have a size stamped on them.

The 236 and the 282 used the same block, different crankshaft the bore is the same but the stroke is longer on the 282.

None from the factory, they had the 236. But with a change to a 282 crankshaft, you could have a 560 motor. The motor mounts for the utility are different than the Farmall since there was never a 560 utility made. Migraine

So what you two are saying is that this is a 460 Utility and IH used blocks stamped 282 but built them as a 236. Or were these built with 282 sleeves and pistons and a 460 crank which I assume has shorter throws. Can you clarify this?
Thanks
