My wife wakes up in the middle of the night and the dog wants out, and she sees a skunk out by the machine shed. 2 weeks ago, one was out there just as I was going to bed about dusk. I snuck out of the house and was able to get close enough to shoot him. Last night , same thing, only 2 skunks. I snuck out and around and she was standing by the door watching me. I was about 40 feet from the shed and watching 1 of them come down along side the shed when she hollers, there is one coming across the road. To my left comes a skunk, headed right in front of me. Shot him at about 20 ft, and the other one just stopped and looked., then started back toward the front of the shed. I moved around and got in front of him and he stopped and just looked at me so I shot him to. Got a rake and shovel and old seed corn sack and put them in sack and took down the road and threw in a ditch. Wonder how many more I'll have to kill before we run of of them? Killer

Didn'cha have a bad neighbor that needed one delivered into his yard? A friend delivered one to his wife's divorce lawyer's office- when the lawyer walked in in the morning, the skunk got up holding his nose, and run off.

1 cup crystaline fly bait 1 bottle pepsi cola Mix ingredients in aluminum pie plate Serve in infested area Gather skunks next day close to pie plate No smell as skunks die a quiet death Dispose of carcasses Problem solved

they multiply like cats. I keep them thinned down around my house but I still see them occasionally, especially when I don"t have a gun. Best way to rid of them is plug off anywhere they could den up and live. And of course, blast every one you can. A full choke 20 guage rolls them up like a dish rag.
