This is one of my next door neighbor’s rice fields. This one is 90 acres. He and his son are farming 4000+ acres of rice, soybeans and corn.

Seen a lot of them way back when. Back when I lived in Mississippi we would go in and bale the straw off the rice fields after they had gone in with the combines. Still remember seeing a good number of combines stuck bad and or with a dozer off to the side pulling them along

Looks good to me flat as a pancake. In japan they raise rice in one acre or smaller plots.

Here in Minnesota we don't know what a rice field should look like. Is that a good looking field or a bad one?

That is a good looking one. No weeds, no grass and has been precision leveled.
