Back in the winter my son wrecked his 1500 Dodge truck. Messed upthe R fender and L door. Soooo I finally found them. I bought them and guess what? They fit a 3500 dodge of the same year. Now I knew they were for a 3500 but did not realize that they would not fit a 1500. Just wanted you all to know that in case this happens to you. I thought the 1500, 2500 and 3500 were all the sme body style. Oh well live and learn. By the way anyone need them LOL.Thanks for listening

sir,

i wouldn't have even known. all my Ford F-series pickups through 1993 and 1997 fit perfectly together with different year body parts, even the doors and tailgates.

I do declare that you might try E-bay to list the things you have bought.

Just put a 97 1500 cab on a 98 2500 diesel pickup... dropped right on. Had to cut a hole for the shift lever and weld in the different brackets for the seats.

On some trucks of some years, the 1/2 ton (1500) will be unique and the 2500/3500 bodies will be identical.

Yes the door and fender came off the same year truck 1995. The only difference is the truck is a 1500 and the door and fender came off a 3500. The fender is about 1/2" longer than what is on the truck and the door will go on but it will not shut at the top. The way it is made leaves a gap.

You must be refering to an 02'. In 02' the 1500 series was redesigned to the current body style but the 2500 and 3500's did not get that design until the 03' model year.

Interesting. Didn't know that either. dieseltruckresource.com is a good place to list the stuff if you need to get rid of it now.
