hey guys, Just wondering if you all could give us a hand here and remember us n your prayers for some drying weather. Two drought years and now we can't get enough dry weather to do anything. The rain is really hurting us right now, and we need some relief. Actually its hurting us worse right now than it was being over dry. Dont get me wrong I don't want another drought at all but we have to have some dry weather to get our work done too. Lots of hay to do and the guys that have wheat do not need any more rain for awhile either.

I feel for you people getting too much rain. We had way more rain in michigan in the last year than we ever could have imagined. Nothing ruins more things than too much rain, nothing. Good luck.

The ONLY time we complain about too much rain here in western South Dakota is MAYBE for the first 3 weeks of calving and MAYBE during harvest!! Send some this way. We have stock dams that do not have a drop of water in them and the odds of getting any runoff gets slimmer everyday we get into the summer. SEND US THE RAIN!!!! We'll take it.

C-man,
I wish I could send some of it your way. We are just plain getting way too much at one time. The wheat is starting to go down in places and I know it can't take much more. I have hay jobs backing up and still some of mine to plant. I don't want anymore drought but I wish we could get some of this rain later on in the summer when we really need it. Yea, I know I want my cake and eat it too.

Im over in Wills Point and Lake Tawakoni was still low yesterday but I bet it came up a lot after that hard rain we had. I think we got about two inches and looks like more today.

Weeds are growing good and I cant mow often enough. Sure is lots differant from the last two years.

It ain't often you'll hear us Texans complain about having too much rain.

We sure have needed it to top all the lakes off for the first time in years. We're about there now, so lets save some for July and August.
