Hi Gang;
Now it looks like a proper tractor again.
The base of the frame was U shaped flat steel wraped around the rear axle (holes drilled in the plate) and secured with the fender bolts. Because of the thicknes of the steel plates, the bolts holding the frame & the fenders were too long without the frame. So a trip to the local dealer 12 miles away for some 1 x 8 inch bolts proved expensive (again).
Cheers David

Those are interesting tire tread designs. They must be for a lot of road travel. I noticed many of the tractors you photograph have the tires well worn and smooth, apparently from road travel. I love your photos. I have used several for my screen background. Thanks.

It looks a little more "natural" now. I still have a hard time with ROPS on tractors that didn't have them originally. I can't help but notice the differences between "our" 35's and "your" 35's. The work light is on the opposite fender, where you have the "license plate" is where you'd normally see an SMV emblem over here, and the cable between the ends of the draft arms has me puzzled. Dollar for dollar, pound for pound, there's never been a better or more popular tractor anywhere in the world. I see where SAME is even building "modernized" reproductions of the 35 nowdays. If they could only sell them at 1960 prices....

Looks good David.
