I need some advice. My friend has an 1194 case (diesel). Heput new fuel filters (2) on it today and now he can't get the fuel to go past the first filter. I haven't been to look at it yet,he described it by phone. He has tried everything I have suggested (crack the lines, use the hand primer, turn over the ignition etc.)He stays that it will just not go past the first filter. He has assured me that the line is clear of any obstructions. I will go and see what's up tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this tractor or knows of something specific to this model that needs to be done. Sorry I don't have anymore info but any help will be appreciated.

I have a 1394...but my operators manual is down at the shop right now...otherwise I would type out the instructions for replacing the filters. If it is the same setup which I imagine, I think there are bleeder screws on top of each filter housing that need to be loosened, then the hand primer on the right side needs to be actuated.

When I changed mine last year, there was a lot of gunk in the clear glass bowl on/near the primer...that may interfere with its operation. Also, he may have forgotten the 'O' rings on the inside of the filter housing or gotten it out of position/lodged in the line.

I know this isn't a lot of help...will try to remember to get the manual up here tomorrow morning.

Good Luck,
Tim
