im working on a wk-40. the tractor is a 1936 on cut down ruber a im haveing a lot of truoble trying to fix someone else's cobble job and i want to do this right but i dont want to spend a 1000 bucks at Rosewood Machine Co. on a manifold but i want it to look nice and i know that used ones are very very hard to find and some one said that they had a manifold that would fit but it was out of an old IHC R190 truck. He said that because my engine is a RD450 and yes that is a truck motor but what i really want to know is if anyone has ever messed around doing this stuff? and i want to know what are my options???

My son built his own manifold from square tubing for his WK 40. We have power units on well that have them on and so built our own. Runs and works good. And the square tubing doesn't look that bad just not original.

did you have a plan? Do you think that a guy could take that manifold that I could get that came of that IHC R190 truck and machine a plate some how and bolt it on up side down so the exaust would run out the top and the carb would be on the bottom.
