Does anyone out there know how to get that musty , aluminum smell out of an old pop machine..I tried baking soda wash , worked for a while then started to stink again..Kind of like the old air conditioned cars from years ago..

They make some concentrated cleaners to clean out AC evaporators that clean out the stink, mildew and scum. Most are a bit acidic so have to dilute it some and rinse again and air dry. I'd have to look tomorrow to see what jug of AC cleaner I have says on it but think I bought it from Grainger industrial but any AC or refrigeration place should have something too. You'll see that auto AC spray deodorizer at parts stores but it won't last long for what you are wanting to do. Got to get the mildew and mold cleaned out.

Try some charcoal. It will absorb odors. You could also spray it with Fabreeze.
