I am looking for a 9-bolt clamp on dual hub for a 5288 International with 4-inch axles. It has 3/4inch fine-thread lug bolts. Perhaps someone knows how to correct my problem of stripped threads in my hub. All nine are stripped. I have room for nuts on the backside of 4 of them, but need longer lug bolts. I have no idea what to do about the other five. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. It took me a while to locate 3/4-16 heli-coils and even longer to locate the required 49/64's drill bit.(You would think the drill bit would be included in the heli-coil kit.) It took less time to fix the problem. I haven't used the tractor yet but all of the lug bolts tightened down properly with a 700 ft-lb impact wrench and withstood the pressure of a 3/4 in. socket and a cheater bar with a 275 lb. college defensive lineman on the end of it. I am hopeful it is fixed for good. Thanks.

Have thread inserts fitted, reasonably priced, use the existing size bolts, and usually stronger than the original thread. More often than not called a "Helicoil" insert.
