My neighbor informed me that within a week there will be a car crusher, shearer and magnet at his farm to do a major cleanup, formally a scrap metal dealer and wrecker himself. Sadly this will claim a few dozen tractors,a lot of old implements and scrap iron. I got the word to get down there and take what I can use or salvage. He will save my stored tractors from the scrapper. I have been buying parts from him very reasonably for years but still this is sudden so I will be busy for the next few days. He is selling the property. The price of progress.Dan in Alberta

it might be a good idea to be there to protect your stuff in case somebody goes nuts and gets your stuff by mistake.

Gooday Dan . Have many relatives in Alberta . Just where are you & do you need a hand ? I know that I'm more than 1/2 the world away but let me know where you are eh ? I was brought-up in Lethbridge/Calgary/Edmonton etc etc , now living in Australia . Am a bit into tractors - wish I was there to help you . Sounds like a labour of love & 24/7/52 type hours ahead of you . Best wishes from all of us down-under . James @ jamesaviculture@hotmail.com

Good morning Stan, the 1/16s are easier to handle and your paws don"t get as dirty. Trying to save some of the more important pcs. Will have a glass case display at our Pioneer Days/Rodeo June 23/24. of the 1/16 size and a few big ones outside.Take care.Dan

Hi Dan, sure wish I was closer. In any event have fun grabbing what you can. Was in Wetaskiwin two weeks ago for a re-union and some of the farmers were just starting to seed from Calgary north.

Howdy Leon, you likely know the man,he is just 2 miles east of town. He used to tow and trailer for the RCMP on occasion. Dan
