I have been doing research on running straight vegetable oil in diesels. I have found that high pressure injectors aid in preventing carbon build up. I have a 6.5 diesel and I was wondering where I could find high pressure injectors? Thanks, Josh

Bob is right. If you've done any investigation of reputable sources you'll have found that heating the oil is the way to go...

Thats if you want to run 100% veggie or run waste veggie oil. Lower percentage requires less modification. I've run 20% just mixed in with the diesel with no issue.

ANY diesel shop can tell you what injectors you have, and if they can be shimmed a bit to increase "pop pressure".

The turbodiesels have higher "pop" injectors than the non-turbos, and IIRC, there "marine" injectors are set higher yet. "GOOGLE "6.5 marine injectors" for more info on those.

Remember, increasing the "pop pressure" will put a lot more strain on the injection pump, too.
