I just looked through a listing of 1650 tractors, found about three Model CA's, but all had wide front end. I just got my wife's Grandfather's CA, and it has a narrow front end. Is this tractor worth restoring? The engine is seized, but the tractor sheet metal is sound.

Most any tractor that can be saved is worth saveing. Thats why I have 30 plus of them, can't see cutting one up for scrap iron. One thing that may work to unlock that engine is to fill the cylinders with tranny fluid and let it set a month or so. Be sure to put the plugs back in after you fill them to keep dirt etc out of the cylinders. Then after about a month pull the plugs and set a battery init and hit the starter button if may pop free and then if that happens its just a simple thing of getting spark and gas to the engine and you may have a good running tractor. BTDT many times
