I can tell I'm not color blind. Every tractor I see I love and want. My grandpa used Farmalls so I naturally have a liking for them. My late uncle used Olivers and my aunt's new husband has a Minnie sitting in a shed at his mom's, and the girlfriends parents use Allis on their place. I gotta say, I love them all no matter what color. I'll see one tractor and decide that'll be the next one, then I'll see a diff. brand/ color and change my mind. Any I the only one with this problem?

John, speaking of color blind! If you ever travel I 70, near Warrenton, someone has an AC-WD 45 for sale, painted farmall red! Good luck with that one.

I grew up on dads side with JD & Ford auto's, moms side was Farmall & Chevy. You could almost draw a line around the different parts of the county by the brand that was locally sold & used. 2 JD dealers, 2 Farmall, 1 Allis, 1 Oliver/Massey Ferguson. Someone sold Case but thats before I can remember, Ford dealer was in the next county, so you didn't see many of them. Now, today we have 1 JD, 1 Massey. Even the CaseIH dealer in the ajoining county lost the equipment franchise because of lack of sales, he can still order parts. He now sells Kubota tractors & Stihl power equipment. Times have changed, if it weren't for the lawnmowers being popular in the 80's I think JD dealer would have gone under too.

I was raised with Deeres. My Grandpa had an Oliver, my other Grandpa had Fords, Farmalls and an Allis. For trucks GM always ruled the farm. I have Deere, drive GM cars and Ford trucks. For some reason in our area you can set 2 identical trucks one GM and one Ford side by side with a FOR SALE sign on each, and the GM commands twice the price but both will likely see the junk yard about the same time. I just never could bring myself to look at a Dodge. So I buy the best bargain with the best potential for what I need it to do, with the least amount of problems. After 40 years of being around and working on this stuff I've got a little bit of perspective on what works and what doesn't.

My dad and g'dad ran massey's, when I took over the farm (from tenants) it had 2 fords. Kept the 3600, love it, bought a JD with loader and have since bought a MF1105. Really enjoy them all, want to have all one brand but like them all.

What on earth is there not to like about all those tractors!

I have perfectly good and very capable old tractor, but every time I see an Oliver 77 or 88 I always want one. What great looking machines. Same holds true for Cockshutts from the 1940s. Oh, and Ford 2000s.

I know the feeling.

Dad thinks I have a problem. But I'm not putting any of them on a credit card, so I don't see a problem. ha..

I like most all of them - except I've never much been interested in Fords or Olivers really. Not sure why - I really like MM's, JD's, Versatile, Case, IH...

I find that the most Ignorant of people boast about one brand of tractor, kind of like the stupid ford/chevy morons who bicker over whose piece of crap is better. Nothing like a bunch of stupid idiots arguing over how a chevy will outpull someone elses ford.

The bottom line is, if you prefer a certain tractor, you better just keep your trap shut because no tractor is perfect.

Nope I don't have that problem. I just have way to many of them all. Allis, Case, Farmall, Ford, MH, Oliver and if I could any of them others. Look at the web site to see a few. I only have around 30 or so of them

My interests change according to what is available for sale at the time and what I can afford to pay. So far, only Farmalls have been at the right place at the right time.
